Or how about a filling for a cavity? Our team of dentists can do it all.
We rely on brands like Procera® and CEREC® to bring our patients the best solutions to their restorative dentistry needs. Our dental clinic offers restorative dentistry services including, but not limited to:
- Dental Crowns
This procedure is used to restore the shape, size, strength and appearance of a tooth that has been damaged. The crown, which is a tooth-shaped “cap”, is placed over the damaged tooth and cemented into place to fully encase the entire visible portion of the tooth.
- Composite Fillings
A filling can be used to restore a decaying or damaged tooth and prevent the decay from spreading further. The composite material used is made of a tooth-coloured plastic and glass mixture. Once the decayed portion of the tooth has been removed, the composite mixture is used to fill in the area.
- Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
Porcelain inlays and onlays are another option to restore teeth that have decayed or are damaged. They are custom-made and shaped inserts that fit perfectly inside a prepared tooth and are then securely bonded to further prevent decay and stabilize the structure of the tooth. Inlays and onlays are most often used when there is a very large cavity or where there is less tooth structure.
- Gold Restorations
Gold restorations can be used to restore broken, chipped or cracked teeth. The gold will help to restore the strength of the tooth and will remain strong, as the gold will not chip, fracture or change colour. A gold restoration is very durable and wear resistant.
- Dental Implants
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. We are able to restore the implant once it has been placed by the implant doctor.
